Tankersley & Hesley - Middle.
Was consious Alex was 1 min behind, started realtivly well, but shaky on 3 & 4. Was with alex at 4, then after the road crossing when we were bombing it down the path, i went absolutly flying on the ankle height fence wire (which ironically i couldn't find last night). Ended up in a big heap with map, face, hands all coated in mud. (got a nice purple bruise now too). So was a bit pissed off after this. and suffering same chesty problems as last night. Had some fun with my now brown map, like 15 where i just ran on compass, hoping.
End bits were a bit boring, but generally loads of fun. Lots easier in the daytime. Missed 27 a bit. fun times.
Seems like Neil K still needs to work on his sprint finish.

British Nights
Tankersley & Hesley - Sheffield

Really enjoyed this, technical and dark. Biggest mistake was on 11, I had been doing quite conservative routechoices. Knew where I was just after the road but then lost the plot. Came across the reentrant whilst heading to the field to relocate - so a bit lucky. A few other little errors, 13,14,15, 20, 23, 25. Probably 5 mins all up, so not too bad.
Also managed to win the road crossing split, which was an embrassing 2s mistake.
Wasn't running well, just plodding. Neil eventually managed to beat me by 20s.

Downhill Sking in Pyrenees.
Really good trip. Superb powder day on sunday.
Some decent strength work.
