Earlish run with Tim. Glad he made got me out, felt alright after the intial stint. Round the downs then down bishops knoll, along the portway, up the goats track and back. Good session, glad i wore my dobs, real icy this morning.
Run with Drs Bown, Kinnunen and Hargreaves. An entertaining session in the snow in Bath. Headed up to the ridgeline and then around via racecourse and back. Nice loop in the snow, lots of people out, inclusing a fair few people on skis.
Run into work in the snow.
Quite nice going across the downs, at dawn. Bascially did this to avoid traffic problems, though at this time there wern't any.

Run home from work via pitstop at Tim's.
Not quite as funa s way into work, as snow was chewed up. Saw a couple XC skingi in henleze, and then people using kitesurfing kits to snowboard on the downs.
Thought the world Cup races went very well for NZ and World Orienteering.
The organises did a great job, with a lot less resources than comparable overseas events.
Three pretty good world cup events, and everyone seemed very happy.
There's always things that could be done better (like the website and media liason), but generally a great effort.
Pleased to see it will once again go outside europe in 2015. Good only knows why it took the eurocentric IOF 13 years to take it on a voyage (or 8 if you count japen.
