Quite enjoyed this. Nice to be in runnable forest. And it's really runnable for Nov, gaurentees a fantastic FoD for the next 5 months :-)
Orienteered smoothly, but minor misses and hestiations close to control at 5/6/8/13/17 So generally a good run. Map was as expected, I've run here a lot before, so know it a bit. The green didn't always corrospond.
Then there was the last control. It was total bingo, and i had acknowledge that on the way in (much like 15 - but found that one fine). Resorted to grid search but didn't find it, back to 22, and really careful, and then spottoed it up the hill. think it was a bit high w.r.t 22 but pretty irrelevant, as it was just an unsuitable and needless control (4mins). Enjoyed it anway, and it added to some banterous discussions amongst all kinds of klub members. Not much (any?) route choice, felt more like a long middle with some fairly easy legs/sites, still overall very pleasent.

I'm glad it wasn't cancelled due to flooded streams.

Physcially felt OK, struggled on the ups, with Hanne taking some splits out of me on long uphill legs, breathing just still odd.

Monday night run with the marks.
Headed out for a gracies wood loop.
Was waiting for Mark2's log for time and distance, but as that is futile, I guess I'll be waiting for the dr. That could be sometime.
Didn't feel amazing, still not really recovered properly from OMM and then generally laziness with some drinking interlude. Better do a bit of running before Jan. Need to get breathing sorted.

think I'll give up on these shoes before i break my ankle - they're crap. Ordered some more cheap 315s - a knowen quantity.
