Note

VF delle trincee (arab2) grade 4.
Good weather but still a bit of snow & ice around high up. My first 4, which was really cool. Difficult start, with a bit of hauling at the limit of my ability. We all made it with no top ropping, then it was just superb. Some icy downclimbing on the north side at one point which was a bit sketchy.

Note

VF brigata tridentina (corv4), a bit of snow overnight, pretty nice on the route though, kept it quiet. A bit icy at the top. Generally only grade 2, until the last section with the bridge which was more like grade 3.

Run 1:17:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Run from house in colfosco, with james and michelle (for the start). Brutal 400 m climb up the back(8b), jim was keeping me honest until his dizzy spell (I think he might be pregant). Then i slowed down and waited a couple of times. Then along the 8, where james peeled off with problems with his new barefoot shoes and/or dodgy hamstring/ass. Then i went up the 4b down the 4a to Utia Col Pradat, quick chat with michelle and back down the 4A to above covara just before the heavy rain set in.

Nice run, feeling not that fresh but not that tired.

Resting all day bar this.

Note

VF at Col de bos (Falzarego 6). Another grade 3, with 5 us. Some difficult moves at the bottom. Really good protection though as it's a recent route. Sustained climb with 400 m of VF. Great day.

Note

Ascent of Ferrata Vallon (corv 7), with the whole group. funky little bridge and a few intresting moves off the otherside. Then with 5 people at a brisk place to Piz Boe (3152m) which was far too snowdoniisk for me.

Run 1:10:00 [2]
shoes: Roclite 315

Run with pack. Time was running out so Andy and I dropped the others and jogged from Piz boe back to the top of vallon chair.
Then did Piz da lech VF. This was my first gradd 3 and for a non-rock climber wasy suitable scary. Some difficult moves, and some extremeexposure. Had problems coming of the first ladder with getting my karabiners stuck on the little nuts. all in all good fun.

Met some northern blokes on top who i orginally thought where speaking a foregin launguage...
Jog from top down to meet others at the Vallon chair.
