Orienteering 1:59:12 [3]
shoes: Jalas Olway

Sra. do Crasto

Was quite hesitant about doing this race, due to injury but enjoyed it. Was real slow, particuarly in open stuff which was a bit crappy. Only bad mistakes was in the butterflys on 20. Got a bit dehy. Came last in superelite :-)

Orienteering 20:38 [4]
shoes: Adidas adizero LT

Night sprint Viseu
Made a late call to do this, and glad i did, it was great fun. Had a good run, only real mistake being 14, were i misread the map and try to take an impossible shortcut. (~ 20s). A few hesitations.
Running much better than a few hours earlier, real technical with cars and funiclar hazards thrown in. Read the control description location two ahead which was critical for exit flow and worked well.

(injured)

Leg still crappy, arrrghhh

Rather humerously this weekend I'm in the "superelite" category.....
The likes of speaky, Rob Baker and kris jones are only in elite. I'm battling it out with Gueorgiou et al.

Note

Leg feeling a bit better, but improvment dissapointly slow, think it might give me jip in portugal :-(

Seems like i've managed to miss a number of closing dates....
wtf, British orienteering needs a good dose of pragmatism. I perfer the organised swedes or the chaoctic spainards :-)
