XC sking 2:00:00 [1]

XC sking for my first time.
Had to consult a xc sking expert on how to stop falling over, after hurting my arse sking down from the bothy to the car, the previous night.
Very fun, excellent day, would be keen to do some more, need to gain a technique, particuarly downhill, i seem to move up and across ok.
Fantastic wkd, want to try it with a 303 too, so it's a biathlon.

Aviemore scotland for the wkd. About 50 cms of powder in aviemore and more higher up.. = high avalanche risk, and rubbish snow conditions. So sacked off climbing and went snow shoeing. Snow shoeing proved to be pretty gay, so I won't be logging it. Though racing in snow shoes is quite humerous.

Lunchtime run, short loop with road at end rather than golf course to 20 site. felt OK, but not that strong.

Hilll intervals on shirehampton golfcourse with Mr & Mrs Crane. twas nice to get out. Good to try and unsucessfully keep up with Mr Crane. Legs felt well rested, lungs struggling, first time i've done these in a while. Grace saw a man in a bush.

about 12 x 1 min efforts I think, but i don't know how to use my watch...

In toulouse, After getting up at 5am, we then sat in the tarmac for 1.5 hours due to a french air traffic controllers strike....
