Orienteering race (Night) 40:00 [4]
shoes: VJ Intergrator

1 hour score, blakeney hill
Hadn't run here before I think, but heard some rumours about the map, glad that the snow had apperntly died off the brambles, else it must be one bramble hell hole, given the amount that were still there.
Didn't find 25, but didn't spend too long looking for it - as john had tipped me off, and i was standing somewhere that completly correlated with the map. See johns log for more details, but apperntly the map is cack, so they shouldn't have put it there.
Had big problems on the track/no track from 11 to 8, then couldn't find 8, though it was approximatly located right. cost me about 3.5 mins. Then not long after 23 my light (which i had borrwed from ifor) died. This was a first, and made nav (or even moving) quite difficult, eventually used my watch light to nav back to the finish, collecting 3 & 2 on the way. The light had been really good, but a connection came out, and i didn't know/couldn't see how to fix it. Orginally I thought it was an ifor plan to stop me contesting the race:-)

I only had to get 3, 26, 19, 22 ,2 ,17, 9 & 16. So if i didn't have any major boo boos pretty sure i would've cleared them

Felt pretty good, nav was good, struggled a bit on hills, and not much speed.

And it had SI laura!

Run 10:00 [1]

jog back to finish

Road Bike 45:00 [2]

Into work and back again

Mountain Bike 55:00 [2]

Finally managed to take advantage of living next to ashton court, and popped out for a quick ride. The trails were rammed.... with noone. A bit greasy, but still pleasent.

Felt like the cycling today has been good for my right knee, no jarring from runnning, and i feel a bit weak on the bike in my knees and the muscles above them, so good for strengthening.
