Orienteering race 41:39 [4] 5.0 km (8:20 / km)
shoes: VJ Intergrator

25manna korton - aka the hangover champs.

As martinson appeard very hungover we had a wee wager on this race. Unfortuantly for me he then rapidly improved...

Always hard to run in technical swedish terraine, striaght off the boat. Had numours small technical issues, but nothing large. Lost 1 min on 15, and maybe 3 mins allup. Felt good running in terrain (suprising given the party and cumulative sleep deprivation). Enjoyed this race, but compass work, and interpertation of contours was poor.

Really fun weekend, I miss sweden!

Winner 29.23
Martinson 38.29 (damn - at least i made you run!)

Event: 25Manna

Orienteering 47:16 [5] 7.0 km (6:45 / km)
shoes: VJ Intergrator

First leg of 25 manna. Fun to do a big first leg. Went right on the first one. some medium time losses (pack wnet odd way to 4), bit right on 6, left on 13 (?). Will be intresting to see GPS track. So on the postive side, no major mistake diastour. On the negetive, I was too slow, struggled physcially with track running. Reasons: generally not being good at first legs (ie not a runner), a bit chesty from cold the previous few days, no speed work since july.

Team climbed places to finish 169th_ so in context my run was not very good. I think ¨~2-3 min quicker wouldäve been good, as with my current time I was +11.40.

Winner 35.36
Place 271/352

Strength 40:00 [4]

BOK circuits, good session, 3 rounds this time, with a few different exercises to mix it up. Was enough for me as i've had a bit of a sore throat recently.

Looking forward to 25 manna this wkd - and sweden generally. Doing first, leg, will be the biggest mass start i've ever done (~350), hope it's not too quick, and i get the correct first control. Looking forward to a fast run!

Run 1:26:43 [3] 15.0 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: X-talons

Monday night run, by myself, i did have matt with me, until he decieded he was knackered being beaten by young girls in the maize maze in the wkd. Went to leighwoods, down, along toe path and up and along my usual route along the edges.
