Road Bike 5:28:30 [2] 144.85 km (2:16 / km)

First day of bristol to paris.
Bristol to Winchester, some nice riding, a cool hill out the back of bath with a speedy descent. The pace was fast, as it was all quite macho, and I don't think doing the race the day before helped.

Run race 1:08:06 [4]
shoes: Adidas adizero LT

Londond City Race
Awesome setting, suprisingly quiet if most parts of the city. A good ttechnical course lots of route choice, decisions, making sure your on the correct side of a wall.
Technically Ok, though not that flowing, not much planning ahead. One big cockup on 19, ended up at the bottom of a large brick wall round about, due to 3 levels been mapped, which is a bit suss. Couple of non opitmum route choices (16), ran into road works on way to 9 etc
Physical was pretty crap, too much curry and drinking last night, then felt OK in the middle, in dead at the end.
Not my fortie, but had a good run.
Winner 56 ish, but noone really good ran.
Timmy & Tommy had good runs. Well done tim, you didn't manage to do anything stupid!!!

22nd +12.03, looking at splits, at least my run is smooth, apart from 9 & 19

Note

Been resting for ride to paris.

Seems like a sensible decision that SOFT made with regards to GPS watches. Fully agree as they aren't going to help anyone who can actually orienteer. Sensible swedes, If I was a betting man I would bet BOF wont follow it, mainly due to that in culturally health/safety differences, the brits love having more rules tomake your life more difficult. NZ will never even be assed discussing it :)

Run 1:16:25 [3] 13.66 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: Roclite 315

TM in bath! Charles, Mark, Mark, Tim and moi.
Same route as last time which is good as it is properly hilly. Feeling really knackered from too much training recently, so was a bit slow.
