Orienteering race 1:12:13 [4] 11.4 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: VJ Intergrator

Spring cup relay, first leg AAB
Tisvilde Hegn vest

I had the first leg and missed the first control. I should've gone out harder - learning point as my boss would say - then latched onto correct line. I was kinda of at the back a group and map reading too much (people really took off) and just went to left of the pit, and hit track beyond. By the time i found it was well behind, with just me and one other guy through controls 2-6 and the main pack being visible 500 m in front once we hit the open. Anyway picked off about 10 people thorughout the rest of the course. Only one other big mistake was on 18 where i got pushed right by crap and confused by tracks and had to run left down veg to it ~60s.
Bet Mark S at last who i'd managed to infect with my cold

76/91 after being 88th to the first control

Orienteering race 56:39 [4] 9.3 km (6:05 / km)
shoes: VJ Intergrator

Spring Cup M21A
Mucked up the first one by drifting through block to left, and coming out on different track than i though i would anr running wrong way (twice) 1 min. Then in control problem 30sec. But lots of the field took ages on 1, so i'm guessing others made mistakes or ran the long track option.Otherwise pretty consistent, drifting a bit at times. Pretty easy course htough with a lot of track running not really me. Maybe should've run elite, would be more intresting to see how i compared. We had some legs similar to elite, and i was out late, so i had some mega quick guys going past me. Ross M was trying to keep up with 2 brits doing 3 min/ks on the tracks!!

Night Sprint
This race started off allright, with me feeling pretty quick, but a bit shaky and climbing to 13th postion by control 6. Then control 7 was a complete ballsup, I didn't detect the yellow, which i thought would be obvious, and ended up at the pit to the left, but didn't realise it. And bailed out to the track 3.30... Lost 40 s on 9 by going way to the right. Mucked around on 12, chris caught and got confused, so my plan of following failed. 30s on 13 by going right. Then to top it off went hard to 14 (number 100) on a bridge, but came across another one on the bridge, and ran down the wrong run in, handed map in and punched finish before, being told it was the realy finish, so had to run backup the other finish chute, and collect the real control 1.10... at least i didn't get DSQs. This sounds stupid, so i'd like to point out i wasn't the only person who did this!!
Overall mixed bag, speed felt good.

Winner 24.51, Chris F 2nd 25.01

Team monday in bath!
Have a bit of a cold, not helped by a couple of late nights in berlin...
Went for a run anyway, was glad i did. Nice loop from Mark Bs in Bath, up onto hill overlooking everything.
Defintley keen for Bath again, it's good running in new places.
