Run 58:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Run from blaise down ridge past king weston and back round over hills. Good run. heel hurt a bit at start, but then OK. maybe it's tha red insoles that inflames it. When i switched to these would rougly coorspond to the lump appearing. Used old blue insoles.

Still a lot of snow around on the ridge, which doesn't look like it's going anywhere fast.

Swimming 25:00 [3]
shoes: feet

Swimming at horefield
My first time swimming here, was hoping late at night the lanes would be empty. But infact it was rammed. Might go back to Filton pool which is much quieter.

Feel that with my current fitness level I don't get that much out of swimming. Nice for a change though.

Note

Eventually mangaed to convince James that going to brecons was a good idea. Had a wicked day walking in the snow, did Fan Fawr then went up pen y fan. Real nice and sunny for the early afternoon, a bit chiller later. Great to see so many people out sking, tobagoning, cramponing etc.
RH heel hurt quite a lot on the uphills.

Note

seems like all orienteering is off this wkd, due to snow, which is a bit of a bugger.

Run 1:20:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Across downs, loop round ashton court and back. Nice to see lots of people out enjoying the snow. Amazing that a few people own xc skis (going off the tracks). A few MTBs had done the single track by the quarry which must've been challening, and was fun to run. Then started to come back down mtb track, but rh heel got soreer than it already was, due to reasonble deep snow cover, cut across golf course and back. All up nice run, in nice weather, pity about the heel, which i really hope don't cause long term problems, but suspect they will.

Run 50:00 [2] 9.0 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: f-lite 335

Lunch time run,
Out kinda of normal way to blaise, but more on roads and back through the west gate.
Kinda slow due to group, but i was secretly glad about halfway round, as i think i may be getting sick

Basketball 50:00 [2]

Basketball
Again not overly physically challenging, as half court 4 on 4, and i play centre, but funish.

Strength 50:00 [4]

Horefield Gym Circuit training

As touted by Tim, thought i'd give it a crack.
Overall alright, not as good as LOK gympa - I missed coach Dirk.
As we only went round once, but there was 20 stations maybe. Even then you spent too long on one station - in my opion.
Apperntly thurs and sun are different format, so might check these out. Would also be funner with someone i knew.
My housemate recommends another gym closeby called BS7, so i may check that out too.

Run 45:29 [3] 9.01 km (5:03 / km)
shoes: Roclite 315

Lap of the downs and a bit.
Great in the snow! really light, no worries seeing where I was going, compared to a week ago. Quite a few runners out, including 2 guys in shorts, awesome. Wore thick polypro which was too warm. Much nicer than running in rain.
