Run 1:06:00 [3]

Run, along garonne then down canel which goes north. OK but flat, cooler today than norma. A couple of observations about french culture: There is no need for public toilets, you can just piss anywhere, ie in the swimming pool gardens or on the canel walking path. You don't need to wear a helmet when cycling, it's obviously not important your head, but sometimes you wear gloves, as you wouldn't want your hands to bleed if you were lying there unconsious. Not to mention the compulsion of tight togs...

back from work. Rode the sweet mtb track on the way back. Then tried to find more on the west side of the river, but failed. Only found a few small streches.

Road Bike 1:00:00 [3]

Bike to/from work, showed cedric how not to get lost in blagnac on the way home. Bit hot on the way home but AP says it's 34 so if it is I coped very well with that. I think my bike is slow, or i'm really un bike fit as it seemed like cedric could demlosish me at ease if he wanted.

Road Bike 1:10:00 [3]

Road bike to work and back, needed some allen keys to stop the handle bars rotating so fixed that issue now. Again beutiful day.

Thinking about having a bit of an 'off season' from orrienteering. I don't want to lose the passion for it. So if I have a break now it will fit in well, as it will be difficult (although by no means impossible - I found a small hill yesterday) to train properly. Loooking forward there is sweden for 3 months at the end of this year, than NZ with ocenia champs and then moving into uK and int comps next summer would be the general plan. So the next 3 months I'm going to enjoy france and surronds while maintaing a reasonble level of activity to not get unfit.
