BOK Trot - Brierley - Forest of dean

Thought I had a good run but still along way off Clive (& Pete), which is annoying. Did too many little mistakes but no big ones. 30 seconds 4, went wrong side of feature and back round. 1 min on 8, mistook control feture for cliff before it, over shot. 1 min on 13, although that wasn't my fault is the map beared no resemblence to the terraine there. Startered last, there was minimal tracking in the first past, but after the road crossing there was, particuarly 17 - 18. Cocked up 19 (50 sec), was a bit obsessed with having just caught Ifor (different course but seemed same controls) managed to check out the 4 other pits in the control circle before finding the one with it in, possibly bingo tecnique not the best option.

Have to tidy up technique and increase fitness, but I had a bloody good time anyway (9th ~midfield overall). Probably better than John who went from 1st at 5th, 5th at 23rd to 8th overall... what went wrong john?

Had a great day on parking duty in the sunshine, really needed more buring after yesterday. Had an intresting chat with a village local who was upset about the road dust & traffic, the term "whinging pom" came to mind, considering we were paying to use the field. A bit different to back home.

Run 1:04:00 [3]
shoes: f-lite 335

Run round blaise, good run went right down ridge towards M5 and back ina addition to couple of lumps at the start. Highlight of the run was seeing a chav hump a lampost enthustically. The worst point was my muscles were a little bit sore after last night.

Run warm up/down 48:00 [3]
shoes: f-lite 335

Run from tims across downs to ashton court for hill intervals. And back. Quite pleasent, loads of BBQs and drinking happening in the downs.

Run intervals 23:00 [5]
shoes: f-lite 335

Hill intervals in terraine, ashton court.

About the first time in a little over 2 years i've done intervals, and it felt like it. Maybe things are getting too serious! a=nyway even if i felt dead it seemed good doing them. Times stolen from tim (who went slightly further than me) and from his log apperntly wasn't even trying..

6 reps with Tim, Mark S, Rhys

Mountain Bike 3:10:00 [2] 52.0 km (3:39 / km)

Austria - Alps, A 52 km bike ride over some nice terraine with SL. Climbed up over a pass which had a random pub in the middle - this was unfourtantly shut on a monday in off season. Then got quite cold and desceneded to possibly the most beutiful lake i have ever seen with a rich green colour. Then descended down the road back to the village
