Into Blue Shirt Creek on the Heaphy with Matt and JJ. Freezing cold blizzard to begin with until just after Perry Saddle and then a beautiful blue bird day after that. Lovely ride and good reminder of cold feet on a mtb!

Into the Ministry of Works hut over McKay Downs. Truly awesome terrain for exploring up on the downs.

Felt like climbing a big hill and met some friends to ride with on the way up. Didn't find a sensible way down. Ended up in some gorse. Bailed and headed for the lights of Nelson which worked out very well.

There was a gap in the rain so went for a run with the usual lunch run crowd. I was banned from leading.

Couldn't motivate myself to go out in the rain so went on Jo's awesome spin bike in the garage. No worries and better than being out in the storm.
