Highland Events Rogaine at Earnscleugh with Katie.
Feeling pretty good physically but lacking the motivation for a sufferfest after about 3-4hrs so couldnt really be bothered pushing the pace after that.
Approx. 51km straight line distance with maybe 2500m climb. Planning now is nice and easy...50km for 12hrs, 100km for 24hrs :)
Time to get some strength stuff back into the training again but really just because I was feeling like a bit of rest for the legs with all the extra biking and a return to running its felt like a big week.
Tried to write myself a bit of training plan for the next couple of months (gasp!) will see how it goes.
From home to the Wednesday night run then up farm track over mt vernon and back through vic park. Felt like a good solid paceup the hill tonight. Well i was certainly working hard! Small crash after I keft the others. Now I have an ouchie on my knee. Warm and dusty. When did it last rain properly?
