Twalk leg 4 - one for the history books

The A-team of Greig, Ash, Matt and Georgia set out on leg 4 happy and motivated for success. What followed was probably the worst Twalk leg ever. Started off well with some good luck and skill meaning we found the first few controls in record time with minimal grid searching. After number four things started to go downhill. The next 5 hours included finding one control and the following grim times:
- Searching for hours for controls in the early hours of the morning with no success
- Choosing between walking in headhigh gorse for half an hour or wading up the waimak on the slipperiest rocks imaginable for half an hour
- Waist deep freezing river crossings on slippery rocks
- Climbing 200m on straight up an unstable scree slope with Greig trying to kill me
- Sketchy rock climbing
- Near death experiences clinging to matagori
- Saving oneself from near death experience by using ones face to grip to the matagori
- Climbing mountains to search for controls, not finding controls, climbing back down again

Was feeling super below average for all this leg. It was a bit depressing how slow I felt really. Sore throat and headache. Luckily Matt seemed to be feeling a bit slow too so I didn't slow the team down too much.

Good character building stuff!!

Twalk leg 5 - Georgia is lazy
