Hmmm well this was a bit of a disaster. Good to have on of those every now and then.

With Sia. We were going really well until dark and then I lost the plot and it all turned to custard. Didn't find much at all and missed out on many 100s of points. Dear me.

On the positive side, feeling nice and fit running most of the day. Achilles seemed fine in irocks

Richmond Hills night rogaine. My L achilles seemed to be a bit inflamed from my boots over the weekend so just took it easy. Didn't seem to get any worse although the La Sportivas did push into it a little bit.

Map was quite budget and it would be a cool area to have a good map of for evening events. Maybe I will get motivated to make a good rogaine map of this area.

Down Burn Creek to the Matakitaki following the old "track". Good bush bashing.

Unfortunately we had to make a late afternoon bid for home when we realized Brent left the dinner in Nardoo hut. So we didn't have time to paddle all the way back to the car before it got dark :( fun little section of river though. Best in the single boat on the shallow braids.

Walking out to the car in the dark. Pack rafting : tramping ratio nkt quite right on this trip. Good heavy pack training though.

Night rogaine at Kerr Bay. Watch was flat so no GPS. I like night orienteering. This was fun but was feeling a bit ill from the tin of salmon and wrap I consumed before race.
