route choice exercise on Partille. A bit longer than a wanted to do but good to get back in the terrain here. Vegetation changed a lot since I was here last time. The tops have got cleaner and the marshes wetter.

On small tracks on the map. Wanted to go on terrain but I kept tweaking my ankle which hurt a lot. Last hard day of training for me.

Long distance from the same event centre as yesterday. Happy with my run today. No big errors, except for the 2nd to last control and misspunching the last control. So angry with myself I never misspunch and think its the stupidist thing to do. At least i did it today and not at JWOC

Middle distance. Big time stuffed up 1 and 2, think I was stressing too much ab out trying to show that Id learnt something from my time in Sweden. Rest of the course was pretty unclean and scrappy.

Club intervals 5 lots of 5x20s hill intervals with downhill revcovery, hills getting progressivly steaper. No niggles, running well. Off to Norway to meet the rest of the team tomorrow, yea cant wait!

Found a team to run for at the last minute. Do you want to run first? Sure why not. Team was ranked 826 not the best place to start. Undescribably cool. I went so shit though made a massive mistake by going to the wrong split and then just shitting my pants. Then was stuck behind all these old slow people and trying to get past is just impossible though I did manage to catch up 200 places after my mistake. It was just mad. Im such an O geek.

Just cruising round a course on Källan. So good to have controls out all the time! Got some good flow on and was feeling more comfortable running than I have for weeks. Good heat training too 29 degrees today.

Long distance back on the same map from yesterday. This time was running D20. Feeling pretty crap and slow. Navigation was ok. Had a good focus going on. Lots of little mistakes to begin with and when I got tierd I screwed up 3 in a row. Not hugely but frustrating. Got 2nd though and won me some underwear as a prize. Very strange.

A good clean run. The aim was for no pink splits today, so just tried to navigate well, was consistent and felt good. Screwed up the last one but so did a whole lot of people, dum mistake really that cost me a lot. Happy with my run though, I seem to be becoming a middle distance specialist....

Up to the top of Asaklitt to training and back. Got hit by UFO in the neck on the way down the hill and now it seems to be swelling in a strange way.

Ran training from a few weeks back that I missed, controls were still out which was good. Beautiful place, took it easy on the ankle but was orienteering well, worked on simplification.

Having trouble sleeping at the moment. Stupid lack of darkness!!! Usefull daylight 1:57 am to 0:00 according to attack point...hmmm why sleep when you sould train all night!

Made it half way through the first course when I sprained my ankle. SHIT. Funny thing was Frida did hers at the exact same time on the course going in the other direction. Though not really funny at all.

Up to Asaklitt and then down on tracks. Then back up again, hills are way too small here! Great ride. Its seems like summer here now, crazy hot. About 28 degrees yesterday and going to be over 20 all week.

Run on Källan once we got home. Did 5 hard 2:30 efforts in the middle, on terrain and small tracks.
