Orienteering race (Sprint) 22:37 [3] 3.4 km (6:39 / km)

The sprint was very fun. I made one or two mistakes and had several hesitations, so I only did decent not great.

Running 42:00 [3] 6.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

I ran outside. I slipped in some mud and cut my knee a little bit. It was not too bad. I did 3 of a loop that took around 5 minutes at my guess of tempo effort. The loop was hilly, and the path had some ice which I was careful on after falling in mud. On the way back, I stopped at Chipotle for dinner. I was surprised that I could run the last mile back at a fine pace after eating a burrito and drinking soda.

Running 30:00 [3] 4.2 mi (7:09 / mi)

Treadmill
I tried to do a tempo workout, but after 2 half mile intervals, I felt really bad. I knew I would not be able to finish the workout, so I just took it easy for the rest of the time. I will try again tomorrow and see how I feel.
On the bright side, my legs felt a lot better.

Running 24:40 [3] 3.5 mi (7:03 / mi)

Treadmill
I tried to add this training post already. I guess I did not hit submit. My legs were very sore from the weekend. I had to take Ibuprofen because my legs hurt just walking to classes.

Orienteering race 1:01:08 [3] 7.6 km (8:03 / km) +185m 7:10 / km

Today I had a solid race. The navigation was on the easy side, and I was sore and tired from the first day. It was challenging physically. There was still snow. I did not have any big mistakes. I had fun during the race because the woods were usually very easy to run through.

I managed to slide into second place with one person who was ahead of me not starting today.

Orienteering race 1:12:35 [3] 7.4 km (9:49 / km) +345m 7:57 / km

There was snow completely covering the ground for the race. The navigation was fairly easy, but the hills and long trail legs were tough especially in the snow.

I am in the intercollegiate category. I came in fourth today. The times are combined for the two races, so I have a chance to place if I do well tomorrow.
