Well no Wilderness Traverse for me this year unfortunately. The knee is still super duper wonky. Bad timing. But unlike in 2006 when I trained and raced on a bad knee for several months which likely caused the long-term damage I've been having to deal with I need to listen to my body (and Nurse Kate) and take it easy this time.

I will have to start training for WT2014 soon.

I'm looking forward to spinning this autumn at MAC Pulse but unfortunately #noturbo. He apparently turned in his gym membership.

Decided to jog with the TNT crew tonight but ended up running the intervals anyways (though the knee is complaining I did so). PH set up this gnarly obstacle on each loop which made it even more enjoyable. Great group tonight and also cool to see Owen from ARX training hard for Nationals. Also learned that his father (one of AG!'s XC coaches) used to adventure race. I tried to get him to join our team so we can be a team of 4 again but sadly he declined.

Lots of icing the knee tonight while catching up on Amazing Race Canada. It shouldn't be surprising about how much more awesome a TV show is when it is all-Canadian! But this Canada version kicks the main version's butt big time. When AG! turns 18 and if they continue the Canadiana version then we'll def. apply.
