capital forest 100. good weather felt good most of race w/2 shorter slowdowns to eat and recover. flat tire 1st lap after 2nd aid st with slow change. broke r derailure return spring at start of 2nd lap. still had front chainrings and gradually learned the technique to hit bumps just right to make the rear shift. if I went above the 3rd big cog I had to stop and move der manually.
