The Shelly Cottle Squamish Mega Mix. Shelly's brother shuttled us half way up the mountian, spent a little time trying to get my brakes working properly as I changed the pads right before leaving but the pistons wouldn't go back far enough and were half on the entire time, with no movement in the leaver and a little touch would lock them up, anyway then biked up a fire trial to a new track that has been built using $50,000, Half Nelson, holy shit it was awesome, really flowy but still a good downhill gradient with lots and lots of little pumpy bumps, were bloody tricky. Claire had an over the handle bars on one (didn't see) which knocked her a bit not the best for first track in Canada. Then back up the hill again and down another track cant remember name with was a bit more rocky with a couple of small drops, pretty sweet, then carried on down another track, a black one (Blue easiest, black hardest) just after Shelly was telling us that the levels are slightly higher in the Squamish area, and the saying "if you can ride Squamish you can ride anywhere", this track went straight down over some massive rocks, Shelly disappeared and I just slid and bounced all over the show as all I had was no brakes or locked on brakes, was shitting myself and just managed to stop before a 4 foot drop, bloody hell. Got a bit better after that, then cruised around a road past her place and did a track in behind called Roller-coaster, very vegas roller-coaster like. Awesome ride
