Kangaroo Crossing. Another fun course but had a bit more trouble this time. Compass was way off to 2. Then contoured from my AP towards 3 but ended up ~100m to the south of it in unmapped low rock. Luckily Rod was there as he went out to the track for us.
Aimed for the track on 4 but found several unmapped ones instead and actually ran over the one on the map. That took a while to work out. Pretty good from there although didn’t spike 5, 8, 9 or 10.

Little kangaroo crossing. Good run after stuffing number 1. Disappointing to have the starters abdicating responsibility to actually record peoples start times (by using the option of a punch start). A lot of people have come a long way to this remote location for this event and you can’t always factor in roadwork holdups, kid wrangling etc. Particularly when the IOF and others changed that rule a few years ago in the interests of not having arguments or discussion or pleading at the start.

Hall. Puncture - nail slashed rear tyre and got stuck in the brakes with 5km to go. A rare time that the CO2 inflator actually worked.
