Kowen East (Orchard Road). H2. Going OK until I caught a trail runner "Stromlo Trails" at 11. We got on the road and he went left. Because it was the same 1km road we had done earlier, I stupidly decided to go straight. Tough forest and was pleased to finally get a single track going my way. That is until a stubbed toe-clown shoe-prat fall launched me groundwards. I heard something break when my chin hit a log, luckily I think it was the log. Also hyperextended my L pinkie and bruised shoulders and torso. Gingerly got going, but "Stromlo" was already 200m downhill from the steep climb up to 12 - lost about 1:30.
Other time loss 6 - 30secs, too high. 9 - 15 secs trying to work map out.
From this I got Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) which went away after two months

Bruce Ridge. Nearly caught Cath by 3 minutes. A bit wide left on 6. Near mistake on 8 but was close enough to see it. Avoided big roos to 11.
Cath got better route choices to 5 (track) and 10 (round the hill). Although I spiked 5 going straight we did the same time and straight was way riskier.
