Cycling (Round River) 1:45:30 [3] 50.58 km (2:05 / km) +215m 2:03 / km

Slow solo struggle on Richards other bike, which I didn't break. Wasn't game to shift the seat up, so not ideal position. Got a bit of help on Burke Drive, Freeway Bike Path and Mounts Bay Road.
Lovely smooth Perth roads,but a lot of broken glass.

Shenton Park, round the river, with LostRichard. Except that just after Karrakatta we got stopped at traffic lights, stood up to get going and snap, splat - chain broke, and over the handle bars.
Injury report: fairly light overall - grazes on L knee, L elbow; scratches on L thigh, R arm. Worst is puncture wound on L calf.

MTB 37:36 [3] 13.35 km (2:49 / km) +144m 2:40 / km

Kings Park. Back on the horse, or in this case, Richard's mountain bike. Didn't break it.

Walk 20:00 [2] 3.4 km (5:53 / km) +10m 5:48 / km

Back to Richard and Nicole's house; mostly sitting on the bike with no chain.

UWA. Pairs sprint training where tRicky ran me ragged. I really needed the 2 minute break halfway, thanks Fletch. Made a lot of mistakes in second half, misread control locations for 13,15 and ran up the wrong (parallel) corridor for 19. Oh and ran through OOB on an unmapped footpath on the way to 13, so DQ as well.
Great course and concept, thanks again Fletch.

Walked to UWA from Shenton Park, then a brief warm up, and including a shattered hobble after.
