shoes: Inov8 XC Talon212

Abernethy, Brokenback Ridge, NOY2, Long course. Gave most people (except Kazza) a 6 minute start by going to 17 first. Lost 1 minute choosing the wrong direction at the edge of the circle for 3. Clean until another 1 minute at 10 (poor direction). Climbed a couple of uneccesary contours at 11 and the wheels were starting to come off. Got pushed left on 12 and lost 4 minutes - I was too high and the control was too low. Didn't really think it was mine. Didn't fully check the creek at 14 (-1:45), bad route to 16 along the fence and missed 18 as well to cap off a woeful, but enjoyable race. Total lost in mistakes - 16 minutes which would have made quite a difference!
