Orienteering race 57:04 [4] 5.3 km (10:46 / km) +160m 9:21 / km

ACT Long Distance at The Sandhills. Managed an ok run till the last control. Started that leg with a simple plan, then said 'I can go straight' and spent 9 minutes too high on a vague slope looking for an even vaguer shallow gully that was hidden in unmapped green. Other than that enjoyed the run, especially up on the top of the ridge on the long leg - pity the course didn't make more use of this rather than the flat, fern covered areas to the north. Best bit was seeing the herd of deer 'sweeping majestically across the plain'.

Run from home to Lake G for Parkrun

Running race 24:20 [4] 5.0 km (4:52 / km)

Parkrun - Ginninderra. Was chatting to Debra at the start and we agreed to run together from the start; with the aim to make me go a bit slower (glute/hip still sore) and her a bit quicker. Kept up a nice steady pace around the 4:50 per km and still chatting which was good. We ran together the whole way and Debra set a new PB by about 10 seconds so she was very pleased. Very little wind so conditions were good.

Ride from Lawson to Scrivner to meet DRAG (Bruce, Vern and Des) then around LBG to 38 Espresso. Ride home via ANU (got swooped and hit!) and AIS.

Run from Lawson along Ginninderra Ck then back to meet Bruce at boat ramp. Did a full lap of Lake G, then walked to Black Pepper for coffee. Ran home via JKP.

HIIT class at UC. Complete as many of 15 exercises, with targets, as possible in 40 minutes. Stuffed at the end.
