Here we go again.
So my calf blew up again after the September Summer Rally attempt.
Have spent a lot of time getting it worked on (I now understand what Thumbs of Death are now).
Seems like I'm dealing with weak feet and weak glutes, which are making everything from my achilles to my hips ultra tight, which is causing the calf troubles and knee pain. I now have a bunch of boring mobility and strength work to do daily to fix this, but in the mean time, I'm allowed to start running again.
Right now, I'm aiming for once a week on the Winter Rally loop. Went with Jamie today, starting at 1min on, 1 min off (though we walked the entire climb of K2), but stretched it to 2 mins on, 1 off on the way back.
V. slow, but no pain or soreness. December sandbag time complete.
