Attempted smt. I'd planned on doing the whole thing, but legs were dead from the get go. Given the fact I slept for 3 hours in the afternoon and the amount of food/water consumed, I think I was running on empty.
Good tdf viewing party after at the Hottage though :)

Since I missed TNT and still wanted to do some hills, headed out from the gym up to the rail trail. 3xDundurn Stairs with a loop of the res after the first two, then back.
Dundurn stairs are way harder than Chedoke. Totally donezo on the way back.

3x30 95lb squat cleans, 30 pull ups, 400m run
alternating the cleans and pull ups every 5 reps and doing the run together.
My favourite type of WOD, low weight, high rep and running.

AMRAP in 9 mins: 18 32kg KB high pull, 9 butterfly sit ups
Lost count, so guessed at 7 rounds based on what others did.

Attempted TNT, but had no legs so just did core while everyone else did their loops.

Spartan Super
Got on site feeling even worse than the day before... and it was hotter. I'd also forgotten to bring any sort of sustenance I decide to treat this as training for the Ultra Beast in a few weeks time.

The race followed the same route as the Sprint the day before, except after the final hill descent we turned and climbed up and down the hill three more times then ran across the rest of Brimacome property with a bunch of carries throughout.
The second half suited me a lot, very rough running and lightly undulating so passed a lot of people. Unfortunately failed the spear throw, along with the same 2 as yesterday so 90 burpees were added to the course.
It gives me a lot of confidence I should fare better in the UB with water, food and a length I know I can handle
