TNT, 3 sisters, 3xlittle, 3xmiddle, 3xbig, never done that combo before.
Lots out, ran with turbo for the most of it - felt like old times. Also good having Mr. menzies visit.
Feeling so much better running now, still spitting out plague leftovers, but it doesn't feel like the hand of god is pushing me back on hills. Epic :D

Running - Trail 45:00 [2]
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 2012

2xARK Attack and ARX sessions. Out to Sassafrass Pt and back with a few detours. Plank Off with an almost full moon looking overlooking a frozen Cootes was a highlight. Felt OK running for the first time since Boxing Day.

One of the downsides of having such a successful program is that I don't get to interact with the individuals very often any more, especially the ones who have been around for a long time and are too good old for ARK proper, so I really enjoyed getting to run with the those guys tonight.

Orienteering 1:25:17 [2] 6.0 km (14:12 / km) +40m 13:45 / km
shoes: Inov8 BareGrip 200

Hanging tapes in Palgrave for the O-Cup race with Dr. PBV.
I started with the first couple, then let Doc do the rest. The guy knows whats going on, just needs to learn to do it faster.
Beautiful in the snow and happy with the course/area. Not as much deadfall as expected, but still enough to make it hard to keep a good line in some areas.

Learned that thin socks and shoes full of holes are not wise when running in snow. Not sure why I was so unprepared, maybe cause there was no snow in Hamilton when we left - but the sensation of frost nip recovery is not something I'd like to go through again.

Running - Trail warm up/down 17:08 [1] 3.29 km (5:12 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-Lite 230 2012

One Dang loop or 20 mins, whatever came first.
Just a cruise to stretch the legs. All the snowboarding niggles seem to be gone or almost gone, just needed a day of non-multi hour car trips or 3 hour races.
The plague is still festering in there, but I'm just going to pretend it's not there any more. I'm sick of whining about it, it's making this log lame, when it should be awesome.
Awesome, brisk conditions out there, Churchill was solid as a rock and Cootes looks nice and glassy. Love training when it's like this.
