Fun smt in the Valley of Minimal Friction. Forgot to honour the Trailhead at the beginning and was punished for the first half hour of half trips and stumbles.
Feeling pretty good for all of it. SMTs have improved a lot for me in recent months - instead of the slow early morning death march it used to be like - it's just a fun cruise now.

Usual pre-ARK. I enjoy cruising the trails around Chedoke, but really pumped for 3 months of TNT.

Blurg. Took a lot of talking myself into getting out and then starting again after an enforced walk break - gut and stitch issues. Had to remind myself these are the runs that build mental toughness more than anything else.
Beauty night along the lake front made up for it a little.

Real round to bay - just to get out after an epic day of office re-organisation.
A few achy bits and pieces at the beginning, but loosened up nicely once headed up towards the north shore trails and slowly increased speed from there on in.
Added in Hopkins Loop, by accident - thought the trail headed down to Cootes Foreshore, but it's just an out and back with little 100m loop at the end (though I did follow the closed larger loop for a bit more fun). I think Iearned this lesson my first time out there 2 years ago, but it felt all new to me today.
