Calf still not great. Pain went away after 12 hours, but I can still 'feel' the suspect spot when I flex/stretch it.
It's only been 48 hours, so I'll give it a bit more time before I start to worry about it.

(injured) shoes: NB MT110

So the calf pain I had post TM wasn't just normal post race DOMS.
Started off feeling pretty good and fresh after a few days off, then after 6-7 mins, on the first climb, I feel something rearrange itself in my right calf and bam, the pain was back just like before.
Decide to run through it, just to see if it goes away. But it doesn't and slowly becomes bad enough that I do the walk of shame home.
The fact it wasn't hurting at all to begin with makes me think it was already healing, so I've only put myself back a couple of days. Just to be sure, I'll take the rest of the week off. Gotta be strong for Sulphur, otherwise I'll be running with Super.

5 minutes of RoboCore with the Blue Group was about all I could handle before my limited fuel supplies gave out.

In one hour this evening my body disintegrated from awesome to sweaty shivering mass, huddled under covers.
Suspect food poisoning - tonight will see

Hanging a few ribbons on and around the radial trail for a school group.
Very lethargic.

Down at St. C's again. Dropped Dr. PBV, Eriol and Duane at Louth parking lot and they ran #4-8 of Alpha Stage. I drove to Rockway and ran back along the Bruce to meet them at #8 and ran back with them.
Then drove to Shorthills and collected the remaining controls from Beta Stage. Unfortunately, Duane decided to try a controversial route choice without informing us and we ended up waiting at #2 for an exceptionally long time. (Pulling a Duane).
Since the sun was starting to set, I headed off to collect the rest of the flags and left the other 2. Fortunately, they were all back at the car when I returned.
Then had to spend trivia in epic Gomby style, decked out in o-top and spikes in the pub - I hid in the corner. Duane owes me a pizza.

Very suffl-y cruise of Cootes trails. Right calf that cramped up during the race was very sore and only marginally improved over the course of the run.
Rest of the soreness is located in the super untrained upper body; shoulders, chest, ribs etc.
Felt some humidity - the bugs don't mess around here!
