Running - Street 20:00 intensity: (9 @1) + (18 @2) + (8:49 @3) + (10:24 @4) + (20 @5) 4.33 km (4:37 / km) +58m 4:20 / km
ahr:150 max:168 shoes: Adidas Adizero

Final test. Ticking the legs over for tomorrow in my Adizeros. Heel didn't like it to begin with - I stayed unmedicated all day. It was happy once warmed up.
Felt pretty good in the fresh evening air. Now I just need a decent nights sleep - about due for one.

Running - Trail 32:07 intensity: (37 @1) + (4:13 @2) + (10:01 @3) + (12:59 @4) + (4:17 @5) 6.11 km (5:15 / km) +46m 5:04 / km
ahr:143 max:184 shoes: Saucony Kinvara - Green & Gold

Testing out the foot. Out along ginger valley trail then onto the foreshore bike path. Did 1km at race pace - foot all good in the Kinvaras and quite happy my HR stayed in the 150/160 zone for all of it and never felt like I was pushing.

Whatever I did to my foot it still isn't 100%. It's usually sore in the morning until I warm it up and Voltaern-ate it. It's usually fine for running, but I still feel it when I'm walking and heel strike. Short run Sat arvo in the racing flats just to make sure, then just hope I get a good nights sleep. (I'm about due for one)

Running - Grass 44:34 intensity: (13:04 @1) + (12:30 @2) + (5:26 @3) + (11:36 @4) + (1:58 @5) 5.0 km (8:55 / km) +86m 8:12 / km

Still taking it easy on the heel. ARK set up + a Bannistairs. Also did a reverse Bannistairs, which I thought would be the same - then I did the maths when I reached the bottom and realised that I'm dumb.
Also a bit of running with ARK as well - a few kids needed their butts kicked tonight.

Running - Trail 1:01:34 intensity: (16:19 @1) + (30:48 @2) + (14:20 @3) + (7 @4) 6.0 km (10:16 / km) +85m 9:35 / km
ahr:114 max:148 shoes: Saucony Kinvara - Green & Gold

30 mins throwing out the usual stuff for ARK, then a further 30 mins running round during the sessions. A few guerrila tactics were required to dodge all the golfers, but got most of it done by the end.
Finally a nice Wednesday night and looks like the Angels are in trouble this evening... Will they pull it off?

Running - Grass 50:48 [3] 7.32 km (6:56 / km) +139m 6:20 / km
shoes: Saucony Kinvara - Green & Gold

Gimpy TNT. Foot continued to improve throughout the day to the point where I could walk with no pain, so decided to give running a crack.
After about 10 minutes into the warm up on the rail trail I'd had enough as my foot was aching pretty bad. Headed down with the group to act as cheerleader as they did Aberdeen loops, but since Trav was jogging, I decided to join in.
Loop by loop, it slowly got better until the only pain was when the outsole of my shoe put pressure on the impact point of the bruise. Win! Did the last 2 reps hard and felt awesome.
No stairs after, not pushing my luck.

Note
(injured)

I hurt the back of my ankle pretty badly yesterday. Not at cross country, not at the P2P, but at the Ontario Science Centre.
Not doing anything awesome, or sciency, but racing through a big blue tube that's outside the entrance. I banged my heel on the outside lip diving in. :/
Swelling went down overnight but there's some bruising at the point of impact (and I don't bruise easily). It's painful to walk on and no chance of running. Currently voltaren and ibbrofen-ing. Hopefully it's just a couple of days.

Running - Grass 31:02 intensity: (7 @1) + (5 @2) + (4 @3) + (37 @4) + (30:09 @5) 7.9 km (3:56 / km) +94m 3:42 / km
ahr:178 max:189 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Cross Country - 8k at Sunnybrook Park (2 laps of last fortnights 4k - original)
I wasn't really in the mood for this, after helping out at the P2P in the morning, I just wanted to run there - but I tried to suck it up and just knock out the ks.
Made a pretty fatal pacing error early and was in the Walley of Pain for most of the race. With about 2k to go, I found my inner princess and slowly made ground on the pack that was about 50m in front. Unfortunately 2k was not enough and I was only able to reel one of them in, but more importantly, I managed to make enough of a gap on the girl breathing down my neck early on and not get chicked.

Running - Grass warm up/down 35:50 intensity: (10 @1) + (6:30 @2) + (23:20 @3) + (5:50 @4) 6.0 km (5:58 / km) +39m 5:47 / km
