Nice and cruisy smt. Not much to report, feeling pretty good.
Lucky to get back just in the nick of time before the biblical downpour began.
Coffee and epic brownie after was a necessity, but still not enough to refill the glycogen stores - an even more epic coke craving kicked in on the drive home.

Running - Trail 31:06 intensity: (3:02 @1) + (14:30 @2) + (7:57 @3) + (5:37 @4) 5.69 km (5:28 / km) +56m 5:13 / km

Out to Mac on the trails to check the major updates - all good, just a few touch ups required. Tried to keep an honest pace in the campus, made me feel like doing a good urban sprint.
Slightly longer route back on the trails.

Running - Trail 11:09 [3] 2.47 km (4:31 / km)
ahr:145 max:156 shoes: No

Finished with a barefoot Dang loop. Fun and springy, but Churchill smells a bit like a pig farm in places. Therefore, now I smell like a pig farm.

Running - Trail hills 50:36 intensity: (2:52 @1) + (26:27 @2) + (7:57 @3) + (8:30 @4) + (4:50 @5) 5.63 km (8:59 / km) +455m 6:24 / km

TNT. 4 x Lowry, 5 x Nancy, 1 x Bannistairs.
Has been a while since I've done these hills properly, they're certainly drier and faster since last I did them.
Felt really good today, odd cause I was wrecked by \the end of ARK yesterday. Maybe that's the key. Either way, I think an 87s Lowry and 26s Nancy are records for me. I should keep better track of these things.
Beaut evening out - more quality warm sunshine with no humidity. Would be nice if it stayed like this all summer.

Bit of a trot round Chedoke at lunchtime - checking out the trail network.
Hot, but a good, dry hot. Oz style. Like.

Running - Trail 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 190s

Lots of stuff to put out for ARK tonight and not much time, so was in a bit of a rush to get everything done. Count 75%.

ahr:155 max:190 shoes: NB MT101s 2011.2

TNT. Heaps of new people today as well as turbo and Adrienne. Fader also returned after a long time away.
4,3,2,1,30,30,1,2,3,4 with 1/2ish recoveries. Almost popped early, but reigned it in and smashed out a good final rep.
Stinking hot. I remember summer feels like now. So Southern Ontario has 5 months of summer and winter and 1 month of transition between the two?

MNT with the boys. Tiffany loop + Bruce / Main loop / Monarch / Artaban.
Told Robin what the days circuit was and made him lead us round. He got everything right which is good - he's almost as good at leading as Greta is now.
Saw a snapping turtle on the main loop up in the orchard. I thought it was a rock and almost kicked it - I'm glad I didn't now.

Recovery run in the valley with the boys.
Fairly epic case of DOMS in the arse atd hammies - sent them up over K2 while I stayed at the base and stretched.
Gross and sticky. Some bugs.
