Running 33:22 [2] 4.33 km (7:42 / km) +114m 6:49 / km
ahr:124 max:162 shoes: Kayanos

First attempt at running, 5 mins on/off around Risdon Brook Dam.
Big shock to the system, joints, tendons and whatever else not really sure what was going on after 2 weeks of almost total inactivity.
Wound felt OK, started to get sore around the ankle joint towards the end of the 3rd running stint.

Not Training 20:00 [1]

Woo! I can walk again. Easy stroll along Bellerive Beach. Wound felt odd to begin with and a little stingy, but went away after 10 mins.
Attempted a little jog, but was a bit unco and in Volleys so gave that up.
Actually sorest thing was my knee and ball my foot, I guess from my non-traditional style of walking lately.
If this sojourn hasn't reopened any healed parts of the wound will attempt a short jog tomorrow.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

Stitches came out today, nicely healed along the edges of the hole, but the section where the three slashes come together near the ankle joing opened up (as expected) to about the size of a 20c piece.
Doc was pretty happy with it, but the phrase 'skin graft' was bandied about. Able to walk easily now the stitches are out and feel like I could run on it, but don't want any of the healed sections to reopen so will take it cautiously and just go for some easy walks on it over the next couple of days and see how it looks when I next change the dressing on Saturday.
Have to do something as all this sitting round is starting to munt my back.
