Running 34:25 [2] 6.2 km (5:33 / km) +250m 4:37 / km
ahr:141 max:174 shoes: Mizuno Trail Bargain

Granada, Spain.
After a stalled effort in Seville, I'm back on the horse.
Short little jaunt around the maze of alleyways and streets in the Morrish quarter of Granada.
Sun was setting and the Alhambra had a nice orange glow. Found an interesting fountain, got lots of weird looks.
The surface here is so uneven with rocks this could almost count as terrain training, had a few dodgy ankle moments.
The area would make a kick arse Sprint area. Hilly as shit but absolutely no logic to the layout, few pedestrains as well.

Orienteering (Street O Training) 15:00 [1]
shoes: Thongs

Seville, Spain.
This is crap, but bear with me - you'll see it's training by the end.
We had to switch hostels our last night in Seville. As it was my birthday we went to the 'biggest waterpark in Europe' (it was crap) and had dinner at Pizza Hut (yes, I'm 12). It was around 9pm and we hadn't checked in when someone in our group mentioned that they sometimes give beds away if you haven't checked in by a certain time, (as everyone backpacker in the world seems to be in Spain in August, reservations are a necessity and waiting lists are massive).
As out food hadn't come out yet I decided to run to the hostel to make sure we kept our beds. I'd taken a photo of it's location on Google Maps and started making my way there. As I got about half way I realised I had subconsciously oriented the map to the north and was picking off features to get through the alley maze to the hostel. Then I went back a different way. So I'm counting it as training ;). And it counts as my run is Seville. (I would have done a proper run, but the after a month in Africa my system didn't handle the rich food here so well. Can't have anything to do with the cheap beer)
