17c shoes: Falcon VJ

Damn! Just logging it so that my log appears active. Dont really have time right now because of final departure Thursday.

4 things:
- forest was nice but very green, making it hard to impossible to run in some place (actually choosing trails and an attackpoint as close as possible to the control was the key)
- nice race for myself, second place, pretty satisfied with my run, good spirit, of course a couple of mistakes where I overran the control or deviate in the thick vegetation, but no disaster as at the NCOF - I felt in control except for the 7th.
- impressive Emily, who caught by the 3rd after my lazy start (at least it provided a good kick), after that we kept exchanging the lead depending on our mistakes - she would have beat me if it wasn't for her last big mistake (youth doesnt stand pressure :))
- tore up my trimtex pant and lost a full stud on my Falcon shoes - both date back from Aveyron 2005, so I guess they have done their time.

Running long (Trail) 1:34:00 intensity: (47:00 @2) + (47:00 @3) 16.5 km (5:42 / km) +500m 4:57 / km
shoes: MT800 New Balance

Last run on Mount Royal. I guess that's why I did an extra long run, going through many "landmarks" or touring the tracks, benefiting from the last glimpse fo Montreal from this beautiful site. Because it should not be considered a safe way to train given my irregular training. Actually, it's the sequel of last sunday with my right eye getting hit two times, the first with enough force so that I have a bruise in the eye white. That's a week of first, let's hope t will not be the same Sunday.
