Albert Park Parkrun. Over 300 people today and conditions were good.

Had a solid run and was in second place pretty much from the get-go. Never troubled first place. Managed to hold my form throughout but no real zip in my legs.

MFR training. Liis was late, so it was just Kez and I. We did 6 efforts of about 3.30. We did a hill rep up Walmer Street and then ran off the top and half way down the hill. We jogged down the rest of the hill for recovery.

ahr:131 max:164

Run to the Uni track and then a session of 10 x 400m with 1 minute recovery. Felt nice and floaty on the first rep and then realised I had overcooked it. Steadily slowed but then rallied for the last few. The hardest I have worked in a while. Reps were:

1:05.8 1:07.1 1:08.9 1:08.8 1:09.3 1:08.9 1:08.4 1:07.4 1:07.9 1:07.1

Had musical accompaniment from one of the University colleges. They were learning to do a dance to Cotton Eye Jo. Couldn't get this out of my head all day.
