Early morning pre-brekkie session. Ran to the track for 1600 (5.11), 800 (2.31), 400 (1.10), 400 (1.10), 800 (2.27), 1600 (5.13). All off about 1.15 recovery. 10 minutes jog home. Pleased to have knocked this out.

Sprintervals at Carlton Gardens. Ran from work and then met up with the MSR misfits for a good session planned by Todd. Lots of short and sharp legs which were suitably lung busting.

Great feed from Todd after - with a special shout out to the lemon meringue pie.

The Marathon Talk Jantastic challenge for February is to stipulate how many runs you are going to do and also the distance of your longest run.

I plumped for 12 miles this week and wanted to polish this off because breakfast to try and beat the heat.

Bounced back from yesterday's session pretty well and felt good clicking along at a reasonable pace.

My new favourite route from home. Aim is now to extend it by 1.01 k to make it the perfect 10.

Clouds looked fat but were precipitately constipated. I felt a few drops of rain but it never got going.
