Easy run from Clare's grandparents house in Hadleigh Suffolk. Ran first 2.5 miles with Clare before we separated. We were placing out bets on who would do what in the marathon - think it was a draw.

Run up and then down to Parkrun. Got there with 2 minutes to spare.

Parkrun at Endcliffe. Wanted to run hard today and push myself. After a fast start (with Aidan setting the pace) managed to open a bit of a lead. Tried to push myself the whole way but could tell I was tiring on the second lap.

Time was solid enough, but 12 seconds down on my Parkrun pb. However, it was about 30 seconds faster than I ran in early February so I certainly take it! Really need to get my finger out if I want to try and take down Paul Whitelam's time of 15.20something.

Early morning run with Andy. Turned left at the top of rivelin and up coppice track. Then headed off to work whilst Andy headed back down.

Longish run home. Up porter valley and then across to redmires and down rivelin. Wet but good to see all the rivers in full spate.

The plan was a long run but realised in the changing room (half naked) that I had forgotten my shorts. Got changed and took the tram home. Despite the rain forced myself out. Did 50 minutes of 90:30s around Damflask. Felt flat beforehand but slowly got into it.

"boot camp." Work are trialing different group exercise sessions and I volunteered to go along. Quite fun to exercise in a group but I wasn't quite getting into the spirit of it too be honest. Might take it on if it became a regular thing but think that drills would be more beneficial.
