Leg 4 of the Ian Hodgson relay. Ran with Rhesus. He was on fire today and kept the pace up on the uphill and was descending like a mountain goat. We got the route pretty much spot on. Second on the leg.

Team were 5th overall. We can and will do better.

Very short warm up and a longer warm down to recover the car.

Steady run from home enjoying the sunshine. Headed out to High Bradfield then along the footpaths to Agden and back home. Took it nice and steady to save myself for Sunday.

Early long run with Andy around Damflask (2 laps). Spectacular picture postcard views around the reservoir as the sun came up.

Still not feeling springy and decided to call it a day when we got back to mine - my original plan was to do 2 hours.

Run to work. Feeling a bit lacklustre.

Steady run home, up Porter valley then to Crimicar lane, along the golf club and down to Rivelin.

Amazing weather and fantastic pinky views over the city from the golf club.

Run to work. Legs were feeling good.

Running 1:13:04 intensity: (43:04 @2) + (30:00 @4) 9.27 mi (7:53 / mi) +372m 7:01 / mi

Run from work out to Coppice track for some Kenyan hills. Felt ok but not too springy. 3.58, 5.14, 3.59, 5.09, 3.58, 5.02. Quite a bit down (on the up bits) from a couple of weeks ago, but not going to get hung up on it.

So plan was to run twice today and I had a double fail. Was not too bothered about missing the morning session. Missed the second session as I was late at work. After a hard couple of weeks decided that burning the candle at both ends was not worth it.
