Running around Nottingham cheering Ant on in the Nottingham marathon. Very windy out and the course was undulating throughout. Tough for the competitors and I was glad not to be running. Impressed with Ant's sub 3 hour run.
I am writing with an apology with respect to the barrel race. You gave us strict instructions to ensure that we retained the trophy - you even sent us a note with some route guidance. We let you down.
We tried hard; but it was not good enough. Maybe next year.
Run from work and then to Coppice track for Kenyan Hills. Felt a little tired but session went pretty well. Started at the top this time (normally from the bottom) and did: 4:00, 5:04, 4:00, 4:56, 3:57, 4:51.

Long run from home with OJ. Nice and steady with back packs. Quick change at mine after to see Kill List - which was good but not as good as I was hoping/expecting.

Easy run to work. Grim.

Run to track. Windy.

6,5,4,3,2,1 session at HH (with 1 minute recovery). We were allowed to freestyle it so we were not just confined to the track. Just to ensure that I was keeping pace I did a mile rep for the 5 minutes, a k for the 3 minutes (behind Andy C who did 2.55!) and a 60 sec last lap.
Run to EIS and then back home again. I had not been along Attercliffe Road for a while and was surprised to see a massive Tesco being constructed next to the Wicker.
