Very easy run with Laura from BJ's (very nice) flat in Helsinki. Head sore, and chest tight but it felt good to get out.

Had planned to go running with Alex but cold had gone to chest and coach Clare (very sensibly) advised me against going out. Good job too as I faffed for the rest of the morning.

Great fun at Alex and Rach's wedding - stunning weather befitted the similarly stunning venue.

Run home from work - a late one. Ran via Ponderosa with a map.

Very easy degunking-run to work.

Drills at Weston Park. Did then consistently but carefully and tried not to get my heart rate up.

Run home via the park.

Woke up with a cracking sore throat and was coughing up yellow stuff. Put running kit on, then decided it was stupid to run into work and got changed. Decided pretty early on that I was not going to run at the relays but was pretty gutted. Had my heart set on a bit of a blast round.

Cycled out to the Flask to cheer on the teams - looked like good performances all round.

Steady run with Andy around Damflask. Officially the hottest early morning run I have had in living memory.

Drills at the social club. Usual session, with lydiard bounds at the end. Feeling a bit rusty and stiff to start with but got into the swing (well bound) of things by the end.
