Early morning lope with G man.

Long run around the dunes. Feeling ok -
did about 5 miles on the beach. Good end to a good week.

Early morning run from the house - went to the sea.

Running 1:25:00 intensity: (40:00 @2) + (45:00 @4) 12.2 mi (6:58 / mi)

Run from the area. It was wet and miserable. 3 x 15 with 90 seconds recovery. Felt tough and legs heavy. No surprises but felt more like work than fun.

Orienteering 17 [4] 2.6 mi (7 / mi)

Sprint race. Good fun but very clunky and two big mistakes. Enjoyable.

Long run after work. Decided to run it mainly off road to save the legs a bit and ran along the trans pennine trail (out and back). Highlights include running through a cool tunnel (200m long) which was pretty spooky and running past the start of the Trunce race. Energy wise felt ok (drank 1 litre of lucozade) but hips were getting tight towards the end. Nearly wimped out at 25 miles (when I made it back home) but did the extra (Charlie would be proud) to round it off for the full marathon. Glad to have got this done and down hill from here.

Clare had cooked a great meal for when I got in - I love my wife.

Run to gym and then drills on the astro pitch. Calves a bit sore but not too bad.

Standard truncated sesh.

Running 1:06:00 intensity: (16:00 @2) + (50:00 @3) 9.8 mi (6:44 / mi)

Run home to dump my bag and then out a bit brisker (6.30 miling) out to Oughtibridge.

Pre-brekkie run to Oughtibridge and back. Felt a bit flat but not particular sore which was good.

Run home the longer way. Got a toot from Neil in Sharrow Vale. Nothing else to report. Other than it was wet. And miserable.
