Orienteering 45:00 [4] 4.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Orienteering - yes orienteering. Score O (Christmas Cracker) at Elland Woods. Good festive fun. Woods were full of snow and pretty icy. Running with Ian Nixon for a bit but we split towards the end - he got me by 30 seconds in the end. Got all the controls but missed one Father Christmas (there were 3 wandering santas and you got 10 points for each one).

Note

Took 2.45 hours back from Bradford. Parts of M1 were sheet ice - scary stuff.

Fun run in the peaks with Petey and Mikey. Ran from Heatherdene up Win Hill, along the ridge, up to Lockerbrook, down to Fairholmes, then along the side of the reservoir then a climb (which I had never done before to) Derwent Edge.

Saw Nails driving out to an ammo box recce.

Got a Christmas tree on the way home.

Run to work and then to the gym and back. Pretty crisp out.

Drills session before the gym. Saw Mairead having a run (in a matching hat!).

Good session, with hardly anyone about.

RTW - the short, but hilly, way.

Running 53:00 intensity: (15:00 @3) + (38:00 @4) 7.5 mi (7:04 / mi)

Run to Endcliffe park and then two tempo laps of 18 minutes. Saw Marcus and apparently just missed Nails.

Early morning run to the gym; the hill was a struggle.

Quiet session at the gym.

Running 54:00 [2] 7.0 mi (7:43 / mi)

Run to track and then home again with the pack.

Running intervals 32:00 [5] 8.1 km (3:57 / km)

Decent session on the track. Misheard the total session so rather than doing a pyramid I did a a trapezium. 2,4,6,8,10,12,12,10,8,6,4,2. Was running laps in about 72 secs consistently.
