Running (Fell) 47:50 [5] 5.75 mi (8:19 / mi) +760m 5:54 / mi

Stretton Hills Race. Entered this a couple of months ago. Thought it might be a nice way to spend a sunny summer day and see Clare's parents. On the day Clare's parents were away and the weather was awful.

Absolutely pissing down the whole way; lots of people in hat, gloves and hellys. This made the descents even more treacherous (and made me even slower). Went off with the leaders and gradually got picked off finishing 10th. Forgot how tough fell races were. Difficult to judge what the field was like, but was pleased to pip Bond and make it 1:1 for the week with Rob Little.

Run home from work (late - missed HH) and did foxdahls (90:30s) up Riv valley. Was not killing myself but trying to knock out a decent pace.

Dragged a work colleague to the Trunce. Good crowd out and great weather. Had a good tussle with Rob Little the whole way. Rob was just a bit stronger at the end.

Warm up and down. Nearly missed the start because I thought it started at 7.00 but it was actually 6.45 (woops).
