Running (Long run) 2:00:00 [4] 18.0 mi (6:40 / mi)

Kept up a good pace throughout the run (no surprise there then because I was running with Andy T). Ran from Bannercross Rd, through Eckie wood, Dore, Roman Road, Fox House, Burbage Bridge, Lady Cannings, Ringinglow, down the parks to Endcliffe park (pace got faster) and then back up Eckie Road to Andy's house. Bitter on top with snow flurries.

Felt really tired this morning despite taking it a bit easier this week. Met up with Andy T by chance (he was on his way home from work and we arranged a run for the Sunday) and we ran for a bit. Up Rivelin valley around the reservoir and then back to Stannington.

Running 20 [3] 2.0 mi (10 / mi)

jog out to Myers Grove and then 10 x 100m on the playing fields for some then on the road when I decided it was too slippy.

Good session at the gym. Up'd the weights a little and did 3 sets of 8 for most of the exercises. Pretty quiet today.

Run to work. Nothing to report.

Running intervals 28:00 [5] 3.75 mi (7:28 / mi)

Wadlsey Church intervals. Good group of guys and girls out. No Ian or Keith tonight felt a bit strange running without any coaches. Did 5 x figure of loop 8 route with 2 minute recovery. Pasted by the third and I couldn't wait to get the session over with. Andy T was running well as was Camel.

Gym sesh. Same as usual but with a few variations. Inspired by Supersaint I did a plank test 1:50 - rubbish. At least there is lots of room for improvement!

Run to work. Cold and wet. Ho hum.

Running 49:00 [2] 7.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

Run to de track and then home again. Smaller group tonight, lost Camel and OJ from last week but gained Danger.

Running intervals 25:00 [5] 4.5 mi (5:33 / mi)

Mile reps with 50 second recovery. Was pleased with the session - knocked out 4.5 reps in 5.01, 5.01, 5.00, 5.00, 2.28. First time that I got consistently around 5.00 for quite a long time (first time this season?). Felt totally wiped on the way to track so strange to feel good doing the reps. Hope I am not going to get ill!
