Running 42:00 [3] 7.0 mi (6:00 / mi)

Run from my parent's home.

Was expecting to feel really sore and sluggish from the relays but actually when I got going felt pretty good - my legs feel programmed to run on flat roads.

Best of all within 10 minutes of getting home and showering I had a patented Baker Sunday lunch.

Warm and warm down.

Running race 16:41 [5] 5.0 km (3:20 / km)

National cross country relays. Ran last leg. This was the fastest session I had done for about 6 weeks and I could tell. Had that lovely blood taste in my mouth after about 5 minutes.

Back was sore despite Kim freeing me up.

Was hoping to be a bit faster but no surprises really - was about 30 seconds down on last year but everyone was running a bit slower this year. Both boys teams did well.

Run to track and then back home again. OJ was talking about his techniques for metronomic pace counting.

Run to Kim's and back. Not surprisingly more whole body was tight and misaligned. It certainly explained why I had been so sore after running the last few times.

Run home from to work the short route. Legs stiff.

Tuesday Oct 28, 2008 #

Running 24:00 [3] 3.2 mi (7:30 / mi)

Run home from work. Nice and steady - hamstrings and quads are sore.
