running 1:08:48 [2] 7.5 mi (9:10 / mi)
slept:7.5 weight:202.8lbs shoes: Ascis GT-2000

9.20am: A nice Spring day, sunny and breezy. Day 1 of trying to get back some level of running fitness, so a plod out West River Drive to Strawberry Mansion Bridge (32.12), over the bridge, and back on Kelly Drive (31.48). Definitely a slug even compared to last year. 16 weeks or so to S6D, so time to get in shape.

Stretching 10:00 [0]

Good stretch after run.

FLYING PIG A-Meet/ US Middle Distance Championships - CArter Caves State Park, Kentucky: Green
10.05am: A much nicer course than yesterday. The terrain was much less thorny. Pretty straight forward navigation. 1-2 went a bit lower than I thought and hit bottom of ditch instead of top and had to come back up hill a bit. Clean through 8. 8-9 started off well on bearing, then for some reason headed down hill and found the ditches 100m before mine. Silly mistake. Clean the remainder of controls. Enjoyed the course a lot, just need to lose some lbs and get in better physical shape.
Best part of day was Alison winning the F21 women's race and getting on the USA WOC Team for Scotland! It was wonderful to be able to spend the weekend together.
