Testing out a new map of a Tuggers Hill. Plenty of potential to make a good tough challenging area, but the map will need a few tweaks first. I felt pretty flat - unlike the course.

A bit of extra running up Mt Stranger. Really struggling.

Tempo effort on bike paths around Wanniassa at night. A couple of long uphill drags, so had to dig in a bit. Felt alright.

Early loop of Isaacs, Farrer and the near side of Taylor. Pretty nippy early on, but sunny and later turned out to be a warm day. Legs pretty tight, as is the way with this sort of thing.

Late Mona on bike paths - gradually downhill the whole way so got some reasonable pace going. Felt pretty well recovered from the weekend.

IW the shortish way - via Mugga and Red Hill. Nice morning felt quite good.

I'd be interested to know who, if anyone, thinks it's a good thing that the Oceania relays are not NOLs just so that a small handful get to run in an Australia top while almost all the elites end up just running for fun in depleted state teams.

Busy day so only got out for a run late - lap of Taylor. Nice and peaceful out there and legs feeling almost better again.
